General Information

• Personal shop licenses and merchant licenses are the same thing but different banks use one or the other. Uladh banks seem to call them merchant licenses while Iria banks seem to call them personal shop licenses. Need to checked all banks to see if this is accurate.
• Personal shop licenses cannot be stored in a Item Bag or Pets and cannot be traded. Can be dropped but cannot be picked up by another player.
• When inside a town and having bought a personal shop license from a town's bank then it can only be used in a restricted area within the town's precinct. However, they also appear to work in most of the environs outside the town's precinct on the same map area and sometimes on a map area directly next door.
  • In some map areas paths and bridges (outside and inside a town's precinct) will not allow the use of a personal shop license although areas immediatelly surrounding the path or bridge will allow it to be used. In Tir Chonaill's southern environs and in Dugald Aisle the Bebhinn Merchant License No.1 follows this rule. Yet, the Emain Macha Merchant License can be used on the bridges and paths outside the Emain Macha's town precinct and on the paths of the Sen Mag Plateau map area.
  • Personal shop licenses can't be used;
    • inside dungeons, dungeon lobbies or areas immediately outside dungeons.
    • in the small area immediatelly surrounding a moongate.
    • in the area surrounding some NPC with a fixed position outside a town's precinct. Using Bebhinn Merchant License No.1, this applies to Deian and Ferghus. However, using the same Bebhinn Merchant License No.1, this does not apply to Tracy in Dugald Aisle. I have managed to set up a shop undernearh Tracy's feet.

Personal Shop Brownie Contracts

• Personal shop brownie contracts bought from any one bank will work with personal shop licenses bought from any bank.
• Personal shop brownie contracts can only be closed by closing the personal shop license it is being used with, by changing channels, by moving to the housing channel or logging out (willingly or forced).
• Discontinuing a personal shop brownie contract will still allow it to be used again with the personal shop license it was being used with before or any other personal shop license, within the 24 hour real-time limit.

Bebhinn Merchant License No.1

Data

Can be used in Tir Chonaill's town precinct but only in the area between the bank and nearly to the healers house, on either side but excluding the path itself. Can be used in The southern and eastern plains outside Tir Chonaill's precinct. Excluding paths bridges small area surrounding the Tir Chonaill moongate area outside Ciar dungeon and it's moongate large area surrounding the NPC Deian large area surrounding the NPC Ferghus Can be used in Northern Dugald Aisle (excluding the main path), Dugald Logging Camp (anywhere, even under open ended huts and under Tracy's feet), Ulaid Forest (excluding path), Ulaid Huts Site which goes to Dugald Residential Town (almost anywhere including the path except for small area surrounding the Dugald Aisle moongate and in front of the exit to Dugald Residential Town) and Southern Dugald Aisle (excluding the main path, small area in front of the Dunbarton exit and what appears to be an unconnected and unmarked path that runs through where the white dire wolves and wisps are on the eastern side of the main path). Cannot be used anywhere north of Tir Chonaill, including its own environs or the map area next to it called Sidhe Sneachta.

Emain Macha Merchant License

Data

Can be used inside Emain Macha's town precinct but only in the area in front of Galvins shop to the grass verge of the auditorium and from the lake barrier to the outer edge of the fountain area. Can be used on any bridge exiting or outside Emain Macha, including the one that starts near Galvin. Can be used on any island you can reach. Anywhere outside Emain Macha's town precinct Excluding Small areas around moongates, in front of dungeon enterances and areas in front of map area exits. Paladin Training Ground. Can be use anywhere in the map area next to Emain Macha called Sen Mag Plateau (except small areas around moongates, areas in front of dungeon enterances and areas in front of map area exits). Cannot be use in the map area next to Emain Macha called Osna Sail.
