hello! I used to play Mabinogi back in 2010 or so, and every now and then I think about picking it up again (oh boy do I sure miss playing MMORPGs)
Currently hoping to write some more thorough, very noob-friendly guides on making sense of Mabinogi's interfaces. My two goals for now:
- Getting a [[Menu Bar]] page, or something similar, up and running.
- Adding more helpful pictures to Quests
- Maybe a "Character Menu" page? not sure if everything is already covered by all of its subcomponents (titles, talents, etc.) but the idea is out there
- If you want to replace some obsolete
[[Rank x Enchants#EnchantName|EnchantName]]links in the wiki and are comfortable with regular expressions, try these (disclaimer: doesn't work with enchants that are more than 2 words long, and in cases where there's an underscore in between words (e.g. Gray_Wolf instead of Gray Wolf), the resulting page anchor will still contain the underscore
search: /Rank[ _]\w{1}[ _]Enchants#(\w+ ?\w+)\|\w*( ?\w+)?\]\]/g
replace: $1 (Enchant)|$1]]
example: a link like
