  • I think it came from a combination of Inuyasha, where Kikyo has "Soul Catchers" or something like that, and Magic; The Gathering--there is a Soulcatcher card that was pretty fun back in the day. That's probably where I came up with it, but when I actually decided to use Soulcatcher as my gaming name (for other stuff than Mabi originally), I wasn't thinking about those things, more something else that I haven't quite captured in text or art. --Soulcatcher
