Forum - Shopping Bag template...

Basically wondering if it's better to go with creating a template for each shopping bag (See: Night Mage Shopping Bag, Urban Shopping Bag (M), many others), or without it like in the Sailor One-Piece Shopping Bag (so all the info to edit is on one page, but apparently doesn't create a Data template). Personally like the second option, but wanted to know if there was a specific reason for using the first option, since shopping bags don't really appear on any other pages (that I know of). Anyway, thank you /o/

The general idea is to move toward having Data pages for a couple reasons. If we can ever get to it it means that we can move to using Semantic Media Wiki much more easily. Secondly though, even without SMW it follows its principles of easy access to the information by computers.

I don't know of anyone making automated queries against our data, without SMW it's not very elegant to do, but I think it's fair to assume that option's open whether or not we use the data template on other pages.

Similarly if, while you're looking at it, you could convert the other bags or list them out here that would be awesome, thanks. :D

Ok, gotcha'! Sure, I'll convert those other bags to using Data templates ^^

Another question about the Shopping Bag inventory icons - is it better just to leave them blank or fill them in with the image used on Mabi's Announcement page (See: Ronin Shopping Bag (M)) temporarily?

Annnd do we care about Stack Size with Shopping Bags? I'm assuming they all stack to 100?

...and should I just stalk the IRC webchat because otherwise I might flood this forum with formatting and standard practice questions? My apologies, thank you again! orz

Yeah using the site image is fine, someone will replace it. If you don't know the stack size, feel free to leave it blank. It's better not to assume the number though because if it is wrong, it's likely it will never be corrected.

I'm good with you posting these questions here! It's definitely more visible for other people that may have the same questions. If you prefer a more real time interaction though IRC is fine too.
