Description
Abcan, also spelled Avkan, was known as the King of Strings, and is one of the three most renowned Musicians of Erinn.[1]
History
He was proficient in singing and playing string instruments. His voice was once heard by a fairy, and he was invited to the Land of fairies. He wrote many songs about Moitura.
He translated ancient records of Uaithne with Enn's help.
