Use Nova Blast to defeat as many monsters as you can within the time limit. Utilizing the skill's wide area of effect to defeat multiple monsters will result in a higher score. As the test rank increases, stronger monsters will appear and you will need a higher score to pass the test.

• +20 Points: Attack Monster with Nova Blast
  • +30 Points: Attack Bonus Monster with Nova Blast
• +70 Points: Defeat Monsters with Nova Blast
  • +100 Points: Defeat Bonus Monster with Nova Blast
• +200 Points: Attack 3 or More Monsters with Nova Blast (Rank 1 → Dan 1 Only)
  • +300 Points: Attack 4 or More Monsters with Nova Blast (Dan 1 → Dan 2 Only)
    • +400 Points: Attack 5 or More Monsters with Nova Blast (Dan 2 → Dan 3 Only)

General Tips

• Your Battle Astrology, Close Combat, Magic, and Crisis Escape skill ranks will carry over into the test, so having higher ranks would be useful.
• You start with 10 HP 300 Potions, 10 MP 300 Potions, and 10 Stamina 300 Potions.
• There is a small highlighted circle randomly placed in the center of the arena.
  • Stepping into the circle will reset the player's Nova Blast cooldown.
    • Standing in the circle will not refresh the cooldown, the cooldown only is reset when you move within the circle.
  • Every time the circle is used, it will randomly move around the center of the arena.
    • Gravity Well and Meridian Sweep are useful to quickly approach the circle.
• The Dark Rat Man are worth more points than the other enemies, but their spawn numbers do not increase as Dan Rank increases.
  • This makes the Dark Rat Man spawn less reliable to earn the crucial additional points rewarded for hitting multiple enemies.
