- It can be wielded as a weapon.
- Eating the Cotton Candy will temporarily increase your maximum HP by 10, Dexterity by 7, and Luck by 5 as well as placing a graphical effect on your character. Visual effects can be stacked. Effects expire after five minutes.
- The graphical effect depends on what color of cotton candy is consumed.
- Children's Day Red Cotton Candy gives the character a floating heart similar to the one caused by "the Courteous" title.
- Children's Day Orange Cotton Candy gives the character a laughing face.
- Children's Day Yellow Cotton Candy gives the character a floating star by their head, similar to the one caused by eating a Star Candy from the Wish Upon a Shooting Star (2009) event.
- Children's Day Green Cotton Candy makes the character's face change every five seconds, similar to the Crazy Chocolate Ball's 5-star effect.
- Children's Day Blue Cotton Candy surrounds the character with sparkling bubbles.
- Children's Day Indigo Cotton Candy gives the character the outraged buff.
- Children's Day Purple Cotton Candy surrounds the character with a black smoke effect similar to that caused by sulfur poisoning.
- Children's Day White Cotton Candy's effect is unknown.
