Pretty sure that the giant bandersnatch quest doesn't come after finishing the qilla one, since I got it before I even got the qilla quest. --Jerl 04:06, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

I got the "Hunt 1 Giant Bandersnatch" quest soon after finished "Patrol Qilla Base Camp", but I'm not sure whether it's because of the Qilla quest or if it's because I levelled up to 20. Maybe this quest (along with the "Eliminate 1 Guardian of Ruins" for elves) is like a separate boss quest and not a newbie quest? Eralea 12:11, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

"Patrol Rano Base Camp" Quest

I completed the "Escape the Nubes Underground Maze" section of this quest on my giant mule by walking into the underground caves from Nubes (Rano) and walking right back out again.

More specifically, I went from Physis to the Star Mark, entered the second cave, got bored, used a goddess wing back to Vales, mana tunnel'd to Nubes and then entered and exited the cave. The quest completed and I happily skipped a cave.

So... is it actually possible to skip both caves by doing this? If it is, should it be mentioned on the page? Would be pretty useful. Eralea 12:17, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

I think a bug may have been introduced during the last patch. I'm trying to complete the beginner quest, Gathering Berries, but no matter how many berries I get from nearby trees, the Quest never recognizes that I gathered the one berry. This is gamebreaking for giants, since you cannot complete the rest of the beginner quests, and get all of your basic skills.

Actually, Turns out I was able to fix it by logging completely out, and back in. Yay.
