Talk:Blacksmith Hammer

From Mabinogi World Wiki

I've started an upgrade chart for the blacksmith hammer. Help in completing it would be greatly appreciated. --GN54 03:50, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

I think this page is pretty much done. Save for maybe some upgrade sequences, but for this thing those might be more of a "for fun" thing. --Js16 02:38, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I've removed the information that the Blacksmith Hammer is an ineffective weapon for the simple fact that it is not an ineffective weapon. It's beginning stats is 1~10 with 40 balance and 30 crit, similar to a dagger which is 2~9 with 80 balance and 25 crit. Furthermore, it can be upgraded to be a 0~32 weapon with 40 crit and 40 balance, which is not a bad weapon at all. It's not the best weapon, but it's not an ineffective weapon. --GN54 19:12, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

ineffective weapon is just the name someone came up with for the category for tools that were maid for purposes other than fighting, which the blacksmith hammer is. it doesn't necessarily mean that those weapons are ineffective, it just means that whoever named that category didn't give it enough thought.--Sozen Cratos Focker 23:04, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
According to the category page This category is for items that can be equipped as weapons but are ineffective as such. They may still be used for fighting but are less effective than using your bare hands. Thus, the blacksmith hammer does not belong in the category, as it is much more effective than bare hands.
I think "ineffective weapon" refers to anything equippable that gives a message when used to attack ("the attack rate of [item] is lower than fighting with bare hands!") If the blacksmith hammer doesn't give a message like that when used in combat, then I agree that it shouldn't be listed as ineffective.--Qaccy 19:53, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
