I went to test this, as after some reading, I found on some different sites that if Cai and Leymore die, you can still continue with the mission. Well, I proved that to be true.... With one catch, while as the monsters still spawn and if you're close enough to the end, I THINK you can finish, the next gate will NOT open if they die, well, either that or I'm just an idiot who can't find the last remaining pole. They died for me, Leymore in the last room before the second gate, and Cai in the big room where bosses/mini bosses normally spawn in Tara SMs.

All i know if i have been on that mission for 500 lvs and i need to finsh it before lv 1k

I'm almost to 1K total, but, look at the bright side, at least it can't get any harder.

I have heard that if Cai and Laymore die in a white orb room after the door opens ( left over mosters ) that you do not fail the mission it could be able to do the mission and not have to heal them.

You do fail. That's the first time I failed doing this mission, after I opened the door in a White Orb room. Damn Archers. D:

I have done this sm 4 times now and lost all 4 times because either Leymore or Cai have died. I have yet to see either of them use Life Drain even in critical condition.

Yes they do have Life Drain, but they don't use it a lot. You can't count on them to heal themselves.

I have run this mission a few times since G13, and have yet to see them use Life Drain once during it. I ran it MANY times (15+) before G13 and I could always count on them to use it until about half way through. I'm just suggesting that it may have been changed since the new generation.

They use Lifedrain only when there Ai gets reset ( so i have heard ) but i have no idea how it gets reset

They tend to use Life Drain after being knocked back.
