Looks and armor

Anyone sknow how does work the looks and armor when using the puppet? im pretty confused because 1 person had a fully armored collosus at skill lv 9 and a friend had it with just 1 piece at rank 5 can someone explain this? thanks

The Minis that can be used to give the puppets different looks that override the rank of the skill.

I'm guessing snow golems won't be used so much unless high ranked alchemists combined with the living puppet skill on a r1 colossus can be combined to have the puppet be automated as it comes to life, and the player manually control the golem? But yeah, base damage is somewhat lower than golems, but it makes up with puppetry skills.

I don't think anybody should be comparing Marionettes to Golems, the play style is nothing alike. Plus, you can have both out at the same time.

Also, their is no difference between Colossus and Pierrot (Pierrot being the little girl and Colossus being the armored giant) aside from the master title they give and appearance. With Pierrot's master title adding stamina and crit to you and your puppet but colossus adding health and protection to you and your puppet. (By health and stamina, that only refers to you, not your puppet.) But you can still use like the Colossus master title while the pierrot is out and give the pierrot the title's bonus stats.

Also, with golems you switch back and forth and have to protect your character while on a golem. With marionettes, you're playing as both at the same time so you can sufficiently WM on one then Act 3 on another (Act 3 being like WM) to easily protect yourself. And Marionettes use Act skills, whereas with golems they come with normal skills at their own special rank depending on golem type. But puppet type only effects appearance. Also, there are marionette enchants but not golem (as far as I know).

In addition, you can have a marionette and golem out at the same time I believe, which would mean you can actively switch between golems and colossus/pierrots.

That's one heck of a multitasker.

auto golem ai + act 9 + player = single player triple aggro.

You have a auto golem AI? Usually they don't do anything when you don't control them. And you gotta control each puppet independently.

Dra6o0n (talk)22:25, 25 October 2012

Independantly? You can only have one out at a time, anyway. Act 9 gives it temporary AI status, so you don't need to control it.
