Mushroom Gifting

Can we get some specifics on the mushrooms needed? What about the types of herbs given? Are we sure it's random?IHarryl 10:57, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

When I tried gifting the mushroom (from Catin's shop) to a fawn at 3:30pm (mabi time), it said that "The deer won't take this item, I heard that deer only like mushroom that appear at night." so the only mushroom they like is Hazelnut mushroom, Brown Pine????, and Gold Mushroom?????? Just confirmed that the deer likes Hazelnut mushroom, and Brown Pine mushroom, not sure about gold mushroom though, also; after about 2 mushroom feeds the deer does not give anymore herbs, but will take the mushroom, so far the only herbs I've gotten was garbage herb (most common), base herb (2nd most common), bloody herb (3rd), mana herb (4th), and finally white herb (5th), after about 50 mushroom feeds. I did a Test last wensday. It seems Hazelnut mushrooms will reward you with a max of 1 herb per feed, Garbage herb seems to be the most common herb. When feeding deer Brown Pine Mushroom you will gain 1 or 3 herbs per feed, getting a garbage herb is a little more rare. When feeding Golden Mushrooms you will either get 1, 3, or a stack of 10 herbs per feed, Garbage herb is not rewarded with Golden Mushroom. The herbs I have gotten are, Garbage herb, Mana Herb, Base herb, Sunlight Herb, and White Herb. Mana Herb seems to be the most common herb of all 3 MushroomsVejosa 16:14, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

I've been trying to get white herbs for my spirit weapon and I think I've found that the only way to get white herbs from deer is to give hazelnut mushrooms to fawns. I'd like to know if there is some other way to get white herbs from deer than this.

...I'm pretty sure it's random.
