Cannot be dropped, destroyed, traded, stacked, stored on pets or otherwise gotten rid of, but features a 24 hour expiration time nonetheless. If you fail not to be doing anything at exactly :00 in any given hour while playing within that timeframe, and let the item -- and the daily quest with it -- expire, you get another basket the next day, yet still remain stuck with the expired one filling up your inventory, that just won't disappear.

It can be used to gather wool from sheep. I wanted to add that into the description, but do not know how to access the information. It will display blacksmith animation and sound, and wool drops from sheep.

It's considered a sword, so, yeah.
