No, JP and Taiwan Mabi also have this pet. It was released in JP back in 2007 which was a year of the Pig so maybe it is based from the Chinse Zodiac.--Luin 02:48, 13 November 2010 (PST)

Can we get some data into whether or not it's worth it feeding the pig all your gold? What kind of items do you get/ how much gold??

One drop so far: 400 gold. Cost: 3k gold.

And yes, I think if we record rewards, we should also record how much gold it was fed. There is probably a correlation between the two. Or there might be a set amount of gold that it accepts before it explodes, or also a rate at which the accumulated gold goes down if not fed.

I gave mine 30k and got back 4,994g

So far:

When the pet was new and small:

• 20k- 5 Gold Ingots (in a partial stack)

Now that the pet is an adult and it's size is that of a "full" Golden Pig:

• 1k- 1 Gold Ore (large)
• 1k- 40 Gold

I'll be testing more frequently. It seems to me that this pig's "ability" is a waste of time.

At age 127 years past 25, it takes less than 1k gold to reach full size and the reward tends to be 50-300 gold. It appears the cost/rewards decrease as the pet ages, and it is essentially never worth the cost.
