What I've heard is that Xylophone is the best instrument for damage. Nobody has the upgrades yet and I'm a bit too lazy to prof mine to fully upgrade but the first upgrade is: Dry, Max+3, Min+1, Crit-1, Balance-1, requires 15 prof and 1500 gold. So if anyone could add that in for me~

Decided to artisan my xylophone and got Max Damage 29 Increase and Damage Balance 12 Decrease.

Might as well add in repair rates: 98%: 2180 gold, 95%: 1070 gold, 93%: 730 gold, 92%: 560 gold, 90%: 220 gold

How is this a string instrument? O-o

The db files categorize it as one.

Wikipedia classifies it as a type of Percussion... O-o

Blame the game. If you attempt, you will be able to enchant a String instrument-only enchant onto it.

Same goes for percussion, if there were percussion-only enchants, you would not be able to enchant it onto Bass Drum because the game does not categorize it as a percussion instrument (chances are it was a mistake made by devCAT).
