Bolt Damage | 11 | 17:04, 10 August 2013 |
Why does it give 30x more than Bolt Mastery?
Bolt mastery is constant, this is weapon dependent.
If it didn't give this much, wands still wouldn't be worth the repair cost when using bolts.
I thought it was 250% damage, isn't 30 way exaggerating it, or am I missing something?
he's comparing the bonuses of the two skills. Edit: nvm, yea, he's exaggerating. it's 5, not 30.
I'm a bit surprised the speed boost to intermediate magic isn't closer to 25%.
Bolt Mastery: 15%
Magic Weapon Mastery: 150%
... Crap, I accidentally divided it by 5... But otherwise I think 10x is still a lot.
For swords, blunts and axes, you can go to any blacksmith and pick up a cheap one that well let you do significantly more than you would bare handed.
Wands are expensive, and, they don't do anything for the bolts on their own.
A lot is the right amount.
Then, Bolt Mastery and Elemental Mastery should get a little stronger then?
Those bonuses are permanent. Increasing them too much would mess with beginner hybrid tactics like ice counter, and make wands useless again. A slight increase would be good but slight re-balancing tends not to happen in Mabi.
