Tani is used as the vessel to summon Hymerark. She disappears after Hymerark leaves her body.

After reading the letter at the end of the story, Tani reveals that her link to the Soul Stream was severed, but that Hymerark gave her a chance to be reborn in Erinn - though not as a Milletian.
