That would be me, but contrary to what you believe, there is a way to add information that isn't based on the template.
Using the "Information" parameter, you can insert any text and it will be displayed in the template.
But anyways, as I was saying earlier, because it is a general ability of wings to provide this action, it should not be included in the template, rather the category page.
