Hm, the Hillwen Nightmare Event doesn't seem to list them in the reward...
I also heard from someone that they're only RP/NPC weapons?
That is false. From KR, they came from a Gachapon and as a possible reward from E7 and E8 (though NA didn't get the rare rewards for E5 and E6 so it'll likely be gach-only for us). Japan ONLY got them from a gach since JP's only reward for the drama is AP.
Rare rewards in KR include Black Dragon Sword, Black Dragon Bow, Golden Daella (Dowra), Black Star, Alkule's Mask (Shield+grimiore), Black Mask Staff (fully upgraded hermit staff with alternate animations, not upgradable). The Black Dragon Sword and Bow are different than the Magic Craft/Engineering Bhafel stuff, they come with piercing. But yes, so far, E5 and E6 haven't given the rare rewards so its safe to assume E7-10 will not either. (In KR, each episode had a chance for three different demonics, but they also gave crappy prizes like 20 SP 30s too, and it requires nx to redo episodes. Also note that we're the only server where NPC transformation medals are tradable.)
