Any single character can only have 30 due to the event. This is probably to prevent people from getting an early advantage due to huge lucky bonuses? I've gotten 2 huge ones in a row and the stones pretty much sit on the ground in your homestead if you mine past 30. They will disappear if you leave the homestead or a set amount of time has passed.
