By exactly what percentage does the tower cylinder increse Alchemy damage? Does the boost also vary depending on the skill used?

I've noticed between 1.8 ~ 2x more damage. The same applied to Adv magic crystals. This was with Water Cannon, Flame Burst, and Heat Buster.

After. There is no damage increase before Lennox at least none I have noticed. Just a range increase.

Someone on Mabintion suggests they receive 50% to all elements. Can an Alchemist look into this?
