Ego transfer

I have attempted both tarlach's and dorren's spirit transfer and my war sword from the event does not work. it is at 100(100%) prof. Anyone have ideas on what to do?
It probably cannot be transferred yet, however wither it a glitch or some idiot who put it up before the update. (G-15 S2 states that wars can be egoed)So I think someone just put the data up too early since they clearly cannot be egoed at this time.
Yes, there is the same conversation in the ego section of wiki. and people also can use a hack but i refuse to use it to obtain this ego.
