Durability consumed on Use?

I know it doesn't consume durability for attacking (singing too?) when this skill is active, but does it consume durability for just using it? I've ONLY used my pistols for Frenzy; I've never loaded it, I've never sung with it, I've never held it out for more than a tick, etc, and I've noticed my pistol's durability going down.

I had 6.352 durability on my Dowras. I used Way of the Gun then Battlefield Overture, it got reduced to 6.324. It seems Way of the Gun's durability nullification does not apply to music, at least it doesn't apply to Battlefield Overture and Vivace.

No Durability consumption only applies for normal attacking. You can still lose durability from using other skills and singing with buff skills.

Ugh, page needs to be updated to mention that then.

Does WotG itself use dura?

Neither activating way of the gun nor waiting for it to expire consumes durability.
