Hackshield Stability status?

Hackshield Stability status?

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to add a Hackshield stability status on the Main Page, since, from what I have seen, recently it has been very iffy. I get kicked off at the login screen a lot for no apparent reason. I try from the Website, Desktop, and the program I have that skips the patcher altogether, but Hackshield refuses to let me in. I am also curious if this would be having anything to do with the recently glitches with not being able to login, but I was under the impression that was just for characters. If I modded, I would be able to understand why Hackshield was refusing to cooperate, but I do not, and so, like most of 2011, Hackshield seems to be as incompetent as Nexon is at keeping Mabinogi running. I am currently downloading Mabinogi again to see if that fixes it, I will also try a few other force methods to see if those work. From what I can see out of how I am being effected, Hackshield has another bug.

  • Edit* Nevermind, I figured out I had an unknown process (virus) running for the past few days that Hackshield has been seeing as an issue.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Hackshield stability status" or how the Wiki can go about monitoring it. But let me point out that the Wiki is not a technical support forum.

I am perfectly aware of that; I simply thought a player monitored status of Hackshield might be beneficial. The same way the Servers are monitored, the only issue is seeing how Hackshield might be, which I was thinking of after posting that. My main mistake here was not trying to figure out how to go about this before suggesting it.

When monitoring the servers' status there is a narrow point of reference with a limited set of results. But exactly how does one do the same for Hackshield? There is no narrow point of reference or limited set of results.

That was what I was attempting to come up with. All I can see so far is basically a set amount of crash reports coming in.

The problem with that is that the reports cannot be independently verified. Nor can one generate a reliable status from them either.

Which is also what I was thinking, and that is the reason why I have been trying, and failing, to come up with another solution. All I have is to actually communicate with Hackshield, which is unlikely.
