About the news on front page....

I noticed you undid my updates~ I don't mind and it's not the issue that I'm talking about, but I wanted to explain and maybe understand how to handle the front page better. Well, at that time, Nexon did have the maintenance as the main announcement (labelled "Scheduled Update") on the 24th and the information I had entered as correct. It lasted 3 hours and I later added that it was concluded when the maint was finished. I see that you replaced it with something completely different ( a new maint ), and I don't understand what's been going on with the Nexon maints. Since all updates that occurred on the 24th have been removed from the Mabi front page, is there anything I need to know before I add information to that section? I'm just a little confused. --Seiyura 08:16, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Ah.. Sorry.. my browser and the layout of the new discussion pages have caused me to double post ^^' Don't really know how to remove it... it's so different to the traditional wiki discussion... o.o'--Seiyura 08:18, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

I just checked this, and this was my bad. When I first read that announcement, I thought it was a extra entry for the previous night's maintenance. I should have double-checked to make sure, but I didn't and moved the times to the 23rd's entry instead. I apologize, and feel free to readd the notice if something like that happens again (unless it's otherwise stated not to in the removal edit's summary or the talk page).

Also, don't worry about the double post. It seems to happen to quite a few people with this thread setup. I'm guessing only admins can remove threads, but if not, there would be a "delete" button under the "More" drop-down section on the right side. :P

Actually, there's no post on mabinogi.nexon.net about the 24th's maintenance. The only one I can find is for the 23rd.

The 23rd's update had been finished and I had played some Mabi before I went to bed. The next day after work, Mabi was down again so I went to the website and there was an announcement for an update on the 24th, and above the 'start game' button there was a message that said "The servers are down for maintenence". I remember it being the 24th because I had to check the time it started/ended by going to a website that gave me PST time and date.. the PST server said "24th" and Nexon's announcement said "24th" also, so I'm very sure I wasn't just imagining things or misreading it.

Strangely, after the maint was finished, the announcement was moved down by 3 posts on nexon's mabinogi homepage and was displayed in a minimized header... even though they moved the announcement down the page, it was still there. When I check the page now, it's seems to have been deleted since I can't find it in the announcements list. But when I look at the wiki's history to find the reference link that I included in the update message, it only leads to the 23rd announcement...

...So, very strange indeed. I expected that something had been left out of the 23rd patch and Nexon was doing a quick maint to fix it, but I wouldn't know why the announcement has suddenly disappeared. I'm confused myself, so I wouldn't know if this was by my error or if it really did happen on Nexon's side.

Yeah, I saw the announcement when they moved it down several posts. I was also on the game when it went down at 11:25pm. But I suppose Nexon has their reasons to have removed all evidence of the last few maintenances... :l
