May I inquire on a page that needs update

I've been waiting a while for the Final Shot page to update but no one's gotten around to doing it. The Final Shot page has just been labeled "outdated" since the Archery Renovation; the Archery Renovation happened in June. It's Halloween knocking on the doors of November and the page is still outdated. I know many people seem to forget about Final Shot but it shouldn't just be ignored completely. All of the other archery skills have been updated including the new Urgent Shot skill but not Final Shot. Looking for information on Final Shot (on the only site that has it) and it being blatantly incorrect is kind of a let down. Can someone please update the Final Shot page please so that it's accurate with the current Final Shot? id try to, but my Final Shot is only rank E, my ap is being consumed by other stuff, and i dont rly use archery very often....much less fs, since for me it does very little, all i can say is that compared to the changes to fh, fs got basically nothing...

Since copy-pasting or locating the work that Infodude has graciously done is 2difficult4everybody, I have edited the page as I have spare time while waiting for classes, and have added info to the summary that should have been there a long time ago.

Also, if anybody has any questions, keep them to the infernal skillpage's talk, I cannot for the life of me figure out why this was placed on the page of someone who hasn't done a thing on the wiki in two years and not the skillpage itself.

• If everything is all done and up to date, don't forget the outdated tag.
• "However, teleporting reduces the skill duration time, so it should be used accordingly." - Does the in-game description still actually say this?

You REALLY didn't need to put this in 3 different places. The Final Shot page would have been fine.

Except there's like two, three discussions on Final Shot Renovation there already. Given what Surrept said, I don't blame this user for stressing out how outdated Final Shot is.

Talking to Sakura502; you put the information about loading time decrease being N/A due to archery skills no longer having load times and stuck it underneath the stats box. Reading the updated page after it was graciously updated by the generous persons in this talk I still saw the "loaded skills decrease" in the skill description. This lead me to believe that the archery skills still had a load time. I had gotten into an embarrassing conversation with someone about this where I claimed there was load time and the other person saying there wasn't and claimed it was on the page. Checking the details where I thought such information would naturally be I didn't find it and proceeded to tell the person it wasn't there.

They told me otherwise so I read the page over 11 times trying to find where this information was only to find it hidden underneath the status graph chart in "fine print". It was VERY hard to find. Usually for "skill information" that pertains to the skill, its updates/changes and how it's used would normally be in "Details," so I moved it to details hoping to make it more noticeable for people seeking information in one localized area which it did and I notified it as such in my edit summary. Sakura undid my edit claiming that it was noticeable just the way it was before and that's simply not true. It only makes logical sense for details about a skill to be in the "details" area of the page instead of hiding it in small print under the stats. I even put the info under the bullet point where it talks about "decreased archery skill loading" so you see the information about it being N/A in logical order after it talks about "Loading skills." It's noticeable, and relevant with the details already there. I fail to see the flaw in my logic unless your intent was to purposely play "Where's Waldo" with information. If I'm ignorant please clarify my misunderstanding because I must be missing something here. I undid the undo but if I'm in the wrong can someone please explain to me how so I can better understand?

I just found putting an asterisk for the "foot note" that went inside a bullet point to be pretty pointless. You normally find footnotes way under the block of text, not inside it.

Done. It now says that the load time decrease feature does nothing on both details and skill summary.

All archer skills had some loading time before the Genesis update. However, Final Shot's loading time decrease feature was left intact, and is still there as of today (why it wasn't touched even in Renovation is beyond anyone). Because there's no time to decrease, the feature effectively does nothing at all.

Thank you again Infodude! I wondered myself why it's apart of the wiki page at all if it does nothing but since it "technically" is still apart of the skill I guess it still deserves to be put in the current information of the skill page despite relevance. I just wanted to make sure everyone saw it plain as day instead of looking for it. In terms of why it wasn't touched...who knows. Perhaps they forgot? Perhaps they said screw it? Perhaps they know something we don't, maybe without that in the skill somehow the skill fails. Like trying to install Windows Software but using hacking methods to take out internet explorer. The entire OS doesn't function correctly cuz Internet Explorer is tied to the File Explorer which is the basis of file functions. Ah well whatever the reason at least now the information is easy to find for all who search for it ^_^

Can you remove this thread? It appears to have found something that may be game breaking for some.

Hey I want to upload a picture for the wiki, but I'm not sure how to make the image a .png instead of a .PNG whatever I try doesn't seem to be working.

Try opening the .PNG image into MSPaint, then re-save it as a png (there should be a button that says something like "as a png") image which SHOULD make it .png

I'm actually fairly sure that the name of the image being uploaded doesn't matter, only the destination filename's what counts.

Go to this page, and once you upload the image, go to the "Destination filename:" field and make sure the name is correct and change the filetype to lower case. Or if you were trying to upload from a link, such as example.PNG, just edit the link's page and lowercase the PNG to png, save the page, and click the link again.

I think they are trying to save their image(s) as .png beforehand so they don't have to go through all the destination stuff ^^;

Oh okay the destination filename is .png, but the source filename is .PNG does that matter? And also i did it with snipping tool originally.

Just a note that I've already been working on the new beginner quests here, so that we don't tread the same ground.

(It doesn't say on the page, but the boss quests, age & level quests, and action quests aren't replaced.)

I know your user page was created a few years ago, but our user page policy was updated and users require 30 sufficient edits to have a user page. I went through your contributions over the past few years, and excluding the ones that were removed, you don't meet the 30 edit requirement just yet.

I see. Thank you for the notification. Just for clarification, do the contributions have to be major, like pictures, or can they be minor edits that span a variety of pages?

Article edits are just as important. Just don't make divide one edit on a page into a hundred different edits so it fills up your contribution.

Small or minor edits like grammar corrections or addings link, et cetera don't count. Providing information that improves the page and pictures (especially to pages that do not have them) do count, however.

I'm not sure. :c My friends and I got the message that we will be logged out after 100 seconds and switched to another game.

Pretty sure it was just the channels then. It happened in ruairi a couple of days ago. Gave us 5 seconds to logout or something lol, but ch 1 stayed up the entire time.

I'll fix it later. Oddly, when I tried earlier, even when editing the direct template, it didnt change the extension whatsoever, so I reverted all the changes because i had to leave the house. :c

It turns out... the template I was testing it on had a jpg redirect to the png. > > couldnt tell the difference.

aha. A good reason why I need to keep deleting the redirects on all the monster images.

Yeah, I realize that now. I considered it then because Nexon kept using "Cash Shop" instead of the other two, but I suppose it's just an alternate name for Web Shop (now with the Item Shop in it) that Nexon likes to use.

Im new to wiki and i am having issues uploading a protrait picture for the hot spring tree. It uploaded the picture but if i go to the page it doesnt show the picture in the portait box.

Click the arrow next to the search bar at the top of the page and select "purge." That should fix it.

Press the "Take Screenshot" button in the in-game menu, and it will still your camera but allow your character to move freely, even closer to the screen. Don't forget to press the "\" key to hide your user interface and CTRL+N to hide your name. :)

Just remember zoom isn't an accurate reason to replacing an image unless it is very small or the details are hard to see.

Thank you again. Also a quick question, a lot of pages listed under need picture have front, side, back, and angled but are still under that category. Why?

If images don't go along with the Image Policy, they are tagged under Category:NeedPicture. If you go to a page under that category and press edit on their page, you can scroll to the bottom and see what the tag says about the reason of why they need a new image.

do something about the Trinity Staff charges on the Staves List...it's causeing a reversion war it seems...

The templates for the Wasabi, Soy, and Herbal Chocolates from the Math Valentine Dungeon are rendering food stat bonuses incorrectly, and a bit of tinkering on my part hasn't resulted in a fix. The correct bonuses for each of the chocolates are as follows:

Wasabi Chocolate STR+7, Int+7, Dex+20, Will+7, Luck+7

Soy Chocolate STR+7, Int+7, Dex+7, Will+20, Luck+7

Herbal Chocolate STR+20, Int+7, Dex+7, Will+7, Luck+7

Each of the chocolates also restores 4 hunger.

This is... really late, but it is fixed now. It was just a little screw up in the template coding, making Strength appear under HP, Intelligence as MP, etc.

I am currently researching the unentered info on pages, such as repairs, dye details, ect, and It said if i make a user page and only made small edits to a page to obtain them, I will have my page deleted and possibly a ban. My dilemma is that I have made small edits to pages, but they were useful, not like changing punctuation or capitalization, and I was wondering if my edits are sound and if I were to make a page, would I be banned/deleted? If my current quality isn't up with standards, then how many edits would be acceptable for me? I'm just checking before I use my time to make me a page, I signed up on the wiki because my minor OCD kicks in when I see unknown info and I wish to help fill in the gaps and contribute to the wiki. Any info on this matter would be appreciated.
