Desert Hunter Ghost
I've taken newer images of the Desert Ghosts, but I can't upload a new png for some of the jpg's. When I try it says, 'File extension ".jpg" does not match the detected MIME type of the file (image/png)' and I'm uncertain what to do. Solution please? Thank you.
You will have to go into the data template for the monster and add |Ext=png. Then reload the page and the new dead link should take you to the proper upload.
Oddly, the template supports jpg by default... so you have to define the extension as png.
I'd actually been trying to figure that out as well.. Sorry if this is dumb but, How do you access the template? Unlike the clothing templates, the monster ones don't have the "edit" link underneath the images.
just search for Template:DataMonster[Monster Name], like in this case, Template:DataMonsterDesert Hunter Ghost (Weak) or Template:DataMonsterDesert Hunter Ghost (Strong), depending on which one you were looking for.
- There is also an "Edit" button for the template to the right of each monster's information. (next to "link")
Can we do something about the default? It's been over a year and we're still waiting on conversion.
The problem is that because it's been jpg by default for so long, it's going to take forever to replace every image that isn't png already.
Personally, I think it's more like.. if people don't know how to convert it to .png, they don't replace. Usually when there is no image at all, people are more adamant on uploading.
