"Why is this different than Merlin?" Seriously.

Kapra - (Talk)00:38, 27 June 2014

"Except you know, Nexon actually called it "Mabinogi Aces: Merlin", without any further details."

I'm just going to keep repeating that, till you piece the OP and this together.

Nise Panda (talk)01:25, 27 June 2014

I am not quite sure what you mean by "further details" but the links I posted below clearly show that they used "Ultimate Anime Summer: New Beginnings".

You're a moderator, please try to act a little more maturely, even if at times I or someone else make that mistake.

Kapra - (Talk)01:28, 27 June 2014
Mabinogi's Ultimate Anime Summer isn't just about awesome events and cool prizes—it's also marks the start of our New Beginnings revamp, where we'll be improving several systems and features.

And let me put emphasis on.

the start of our New Beginnings revamp

Further. Details. I don't understand how much more specific I can get.

Nise Panda (talk)01:53, 27 June 2014

When people ask for clarity, you don't just copy paste what you already said.

Either way, I am still convinced that this should be enough proof to explain why it is "Ultimate Anime Summer: New Beginnings". I am fine with removing that prefix from the updates section of the front page so long as we remove other prefixes as well.

Kapra - (Talk)01:56, 27 June 2014
  • Nexon calls Merlin update specifically "Mabinogi Aces: Merling" without anything else added.
  • Nexon specifically calls it "New Beginnings revamp".

Mika and I are repeating the same thing over and over again, just in different ways.

Edit: and since I guess that news bar thing whatever leads to the event page, the events are also "New Beginnings"!

Nise Panda (talk)02:05, 27 June 2014

Thank you, that's much clearer now. So we're basing it on if Nexon ever shortens the name?

That makes no sense to me and highly disagree with that but if we're going to be pulling hairs like that then:

Why would we base the criteria on if they ever said the names alone and not in a full title that was provided?

If I'm still not getting it, sorry. I'm not stupid but I may be slow. I need things to be clearly explained, not have the same quote being constantly repeated.

@Nise's Edit

I 100% agree with that. Many update titles are both the name of updates and events.
Kapra - (Talk)02:24, 27 June 2014

Get me a Maintenance report about the recent content and I'll be on board with using Maintenance reports as further proof(or whatever you would call it). They never mention events and stuff like that in there, things could easily be modified and or simply not mentioned.

Nise Panda (talk)02:32, 27 June 2014

The update wasn't mentioned at all in the post, not as "Ultimate Anime Summer", "Ultimate Anime Summer: New Beginnings", or "New Beginnings".
Albeit, unlike the previous three cases, the content for Regeneration/New Beginnings was already in our pack files for a while before official release. I'm not sure if that's what they had in mind for not including it in the maintenance notes, but they probably just wanted to make the update a surprise as they didn't announce it anywhere else either other than ominous logos of something coming who knows when.

My point was, saying only part of the update's name or saying its full name won't change what its full name is. I see no reason why this doesn't already prove that it is Ultimate Anime Summer: New Beginnings.
