I hope to god you know what you're doing with the beam swords because they rereleased the 1st generation ones to the current event. Doesn't mean the 2nd generation swords do not exist anymore.
I know. I noticed my old gen 2 ones all had their names changed.

Nope, they are all still crappy nerfed versions. :\ They just all had their names changed.
