From Mabinogi World Wiki

Hi. I reverted your previous edit to Category:Giant Field Boss because the majority of it was patently false. I have personally experienced multiple instances of counterexamples to your various assertions. As for the contents of the page as I originally wrote it, I invite you to check http://mabinogi.wikiwiki.jp/pukiwiki.php?%A5%E2%A5%F3%A5%B9%A5%BF%A1%BC%2F%A5%C7%A1%BC%A5%BF%A5%D9%A1%BC%A5%B9%2F%A5%D5%A5%A3%A1%BC%A5%EB%A5%C9%A5%DC%A5%B9%2F%A5%A4%A5%EA%A5%A2%B5%F0%C2%E7%C0%B8%CA%AA as a source. If you don't read Japanese... well that's not my fault. I also invite you to put bring forth any sources you may have for the assertions in your original edit, but I suspect you have none.

As I see it, you got mad when you saw I had reverted your edit and decided to delete all the real information on the page. As such, I'm reverting to the previous version, and I'm also going to have to report you for vandalism. Have a nice day. --Inemnitable 09:28, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

I already quoted you my source and offered you the opportunity to quote yours, if it exists. If you can't read it... well, there's always Google Translate. And I'd have to say the one deleting information from the wiki is you. Turning this into an edit war is likely to get you banned. --Inemnitable 22:27, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
You are pointing to a JAPANESE wiki for the JAPANESE version of the game. That is not proof of what happens in the North America game. I'm tired of fixing things in the wiki because someone in the North America game says "but the wiki says this." Yes my answer, is "The English wiki steals everything from the Japanese wiki, that's why it's wrong." KisaiTenshi 23:39, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Just cut it out now. --Jαy 23:45, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
No, This started about misinformation about Giant Field bosses being different than Regular Field Bosses, and this person is pointing to a completely different game as proof. Show me PROOF from the North American game that the Giant Field bosses have a different drop and finish from either other. It does not justify a separate page if they are different, and Inemnitable already deleted any theoretical information to justify the existence of the Giant Field Boss page. The Japanese wiki has all the field bosses on the same page, which is completely different from the north america wiki where they give each monster type it's own page along with it's own strategies. Duplicating the content between those pages is useless.KisaiTenshi 23:52, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
This is the same game, you realize that right? I'm saying you better stop now because an edit war is likely to get you banned. --Jαy 23:58, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
@Kisai, Just to make a point, you're saying that the Japanese wiki is for the Japanese version of the game, so why are you saying that the NA wiki should mimic the JP wiki? --Linkolin 00:04, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
This is the same stupid argument I've had with WikiPEDIA edits with a stick up their bums about notability. This is NOT the Japanese wiki, it does not need a Giant Field Boss Category since it duplicates content on the individual Giant Field boss pages that already exists in the Field Boss pages. There's nothing notable that makes the Giant Field bosses different. Their HP and Spawn times are on their pages, they don't need to be duplicated. Field Boss and Drop systems don't need to be duplicated from the Field Boss page. What more is there to discuss? KisaiTenshi 00:22, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Well then, why not just post this... problem on the Q&A page and see what the rest of the community thinks about your opinion. We'll let everyone else decide, it's as simple as that. --Linkolin 00:37, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
SO you can add more Tarlach sock puppets to your wiki edit war game? Why bother? Obviously certain information has to be positively or negatively be enforced on the wiki otherwise people will still ask about it.KisaiTenshi 00:51, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Tarlach sock puppets? I'm just offering a suggestion so there will be no "edit war" as you say. Besides, the server I'm on doesn't even have anything to do with what we're talking about. --Linkolin 01:25, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Amazing how all 3 of you people are from Tarlach. I have better things to do.KisaiTenshi 01:33, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Where's Inemnitable's proof to justify the page? The Regular Field Bosses like the Head Hyena operate the same way. The only thing unique to the Giant Field bosses is the time they spawn, which is in their Monster page. KisaiTenshi 00:42, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

You seem to be forgetting the fact that everyone gets a drop, that itself is unique to the Giant Field Bosses also. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. --Linkolin 01:25, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
So tell me, why did I get a stam pot reward drop when I defeated the Head Hyena, yet someone else who wasn't in my party got the experience? Was this just a one-off glitch or the field bosses on Alexina operate differently? I'd like to figure this out. Almost nobody actually goes after the non-giant field bosses. KisaiTenshi 02:05, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Combat Participation EXP. --Link 02:12, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
You're giving the evidence against you right there. Against giant field bosses, everyone gets an actual item drop (which you haven't described). If all they got was exp and they weren't in your party it's likely the combat participation exp they got which you'll find is present on many monsters, not just giant field bosses and not just on field bosses either. Oh and just to sate your paranoia, I'm from ruairi.--Mystickskye 02:16, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
I don't know if they got an item, I only know they got the experience because I saw the level-up glow. It was not a controlled test, it was two elves showing up after myself and a guildie defeated one already. If it was simply combat experience, then maybe that would explain what I saw. That still does not justify having a dozen different pages with the same content that "must be on the japanese wiki or it's false" KisaiTenshi 02:32, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Whilst I'd normally agree, the fact that the giant field bosses work differently is cause enough for me to allow a giant field boss category especially as there may be those interested in taking advantage of the unique properties of giant field bosses. The JP Wiki isn't a factor for me as I've known them to be incomplete or even argue amongst themselves on data.--Mystickskye 02:36, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

"Tarlach Sock Puppets"

This is getting ridiculous. There is no reason to suggest that we are somehow working together against you. --Jαy 01:54, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Also, I hope you'll stop insulting people now. --Jαy 17:44, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
I don't throw throw the first stone, read Inemnitable's rude comments on the page. KisaiTenshi 17:50, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
"What, so that makes it okay to throw stones at all? Don't be silly.--Mystickskye 04:23, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
