False Information

Please don't insert false information into articles, as you did the availability of the Thunderbird pet. --- Angevon (Talk) 00:48, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Okay, no problem then. --- Angevon (Talk) 16:44, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Signing Comments on Talk Pages

Angevon would probably have reminded you sooner or later but when leaving comments on talk pages (such as, Angevon's talk page) then sign it by adding four tildes (i.e., ~~~~) at the end of the comment., This will automatically sign your user name, the time and the date when you save the talk page. For example, "Some comment made on a talk page. --~~~~" will produce "Some comment made on a talk page. --ZRoc (Talk) 18:42, 29 December 2009 (UTC)". The user name displayed will be yours when you do this. --ZRoc (Talk) 18:42, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

-butts in :D- The link to your page 'doesn't work' because there's nothing on your page. o.o... Feel free to add stuff to it?--Яειм 's Talk 20:36, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
She means edit your user page and add something as simple as "hi" or anything else you desire, within the wiki's policy, of course. There is a section for user pages but you should probably read all of it (it might be boring now but it will save you headaches in future). Please note, I'm only an ordinary user while Angevon is an admin and you can ignore what I say but you should do what an admin or the sysop says XD. By the way, happy New Year and I hope you enjoy working on the wiki =3. --ZRoc (Talk) 21:06, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: URGENT, I THINK ITS A LAG IN MABI

I just tried logging into Tarlach server and had no problems. Also, tried Mari and that worked fine. It may just be on the server your playing on? Did you get to the character selection screen or only the log in screen? By the way, you can add such info to the top of the Wiki Home/WikiUpdates page, which displays on the wiki's main page (in the General Mabinogi News section) but you should be very sure it's Mabinogi causing the problem before you do that (if others don't beleive your info they will remove it lol). Also, I live in Australia (and have a weird sleeping pattern) so there's no guarantee I will be active on the wiki when you are, so I may not be able to reply in time to anything urgent. --ZRoc (Talk) 23:38, 29 December 2009 (UTC) P.S. Nice user page XD --ZRoc (Talk) 23:39, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Signature

If you want a link to your talk page to show in your signature (what displays when you use the four tildes) you can change your signature in "my preferences". It is at the very top of every wiki page (on the right side) and goes to the Preferences page for your account. If you do the following then your signature will display as "Mimar222 (Talk) time date" where "Talk" will directly link to this talk page;

  • Go to "my preferences" and you should be in it's first tab called "User Profile" (if not, then click on that tab).
  • There is a section on that tab called "Signature:", in the input box directly opposite the section name replace whatever is in it (or just paste, if nothing is in it) with;
    [[User:Minar222|Minar222]] ([[User_talk:Minar222|Talk]])
  • Directly below that input box, make sure there is a tick in the box with "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)" next to it.
  • Finally click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

You'll see people with fancy looking sigs (e.g., Яειм 's Talk belong's to User:Dramartistic) but you can't normally do them using "my preferences". You usually have to copy paste the code each time you want that sig to display and use five tildes to show the time and date. However, I could be mistaken as I don't use a fancy sig, so I'm not really the person to ask about it lol. It's up to you what you want to use for a sig but whatever you do don't make it overly long (it can make pages look messy, the longer your sig is).
You can also use the Signature.png button to add your signature. It appears in the row of buttons that are at the top of the edit area when you edit a page. --ZRoc (Talk) 00:26, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Things you can do

If you want something to do, take a look through Category:NeedPicture and see if you have any of the gears there. If so, take pictures of the gear for us (follow the image policy guidelines --- if you don't want to read all that, basically, take the pictures in good lighting like inside Dunbarton's school building, zoom in as close to the gear as you can, have Glow Effects off in your Options, press ctrl+N to hide your name, don't have any other distracting gears on, and save the pictures as .png after you crop them. But, don't even bother contributing pictures of gear that are colored dark black or pure white because we just don't want them). For good examples of gear pictures see any of the ones Dumbelf has contributed.

Nothing else that you could do really comes to mind. How much into wiki formatting do you want to get? lol. --- Angevon (Talk) 02:16, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
