General Tips

  • Your Close Combat and Lance ranks will carry over into the test, so having higher ranks would be useful.
    • Using defensive-offensive moves like Lance Counter or Windmill will help the player manage multi-aggro.
    • In addition, these skills can help finish off enemies when there are less than 3 left in the wave.
    • Having a higher ranked Charge will reduce the amount of damage Lance Charge takes when blocking ranged attacks.
  • Attacking a total of 3 enemies with Lance Charge will reset it's cooldown.
    • Players should spend time manipulating or waiting for enemies to line up to maximize points.
  • Targeting weaker enemies first can reduce the need to manage too many simultaneously attacking monsters.
  • Critical Lance Charge damage is important, because high damage attacks provide crucial bonus points.
    • Attacking from a farther distance will increase damage potential using Lance Charge.
  • Players may find that they take lethal damage more often during this test, due to the nature of using Lance Charge.
    • Since the penalty for death is only 100 points and 10 seconds, the player may find it beneficial to die once in order to reset their health, aggro, and Lance Charge cooldown.
  • Players can disable names and chat using Ctrl+N to improve visibility of enemy skills.
