Homestead Dragon Tamer Event
- January 23rd, 2014 – February 12th, 2014
- July 22nd, 2015 - August 20th, 2015
Description
Odd smoke plumes are rising from the woods around Dunbarton. Rumors have it that Mother Dragon has lost her little hatchlings, and now the tiny beasts are terrorizing local Homesteads.
See if you can bait one to yours...
Objective:
- Talk to Mother Dragon to learn how you can lure a baby dragon into your homestead. Earn its trust, and you’ll keep the beast as your own.
Event Details:
- It takes everything you have to raise a baby... especially a dragon baby! Prove your worth as a parent and make sure your hatchling is well taken care of during the event period and you'll end up its permanent caretaker.
Reward:
- Homestead Dragon[1]
Details
- Log in during the event to receive the quest, Lost Little Dragon.
- Complete "Lost Little Dragon" to receive the next quest, Find the baby dragon.
- During this quest, you will receive a Homestead Wild Baby Dragon.
- Use the Homestead Wild Baby Dragon in your Homestead and place it on any unoccupied 3x3 space to obtain a Wild Baby Dragon animal.
- The Wild Baby Dragon is temporary and will disappear once the event is over.
- Complete the quest "Find the baby dragon" to receive the next quest, Fierce Little Dragon.
- Obtain 100 disposition points with the Wild Baby Dragon by completing quests obtained from the Mother Dragon, who is located at Dunbarton, between Lorna and the Town Messenger.
- You may check the current disposition level by speaking to the baby dragon.
- If you somehow lost the Wild Baby Dragon, talk to Mother Dragon to receive another one.
- Upon completing "Fierce Little Dragon":
- The Wild Baby Dragon will disappear from your Homestead.
- You will not be able to accept any more disposition quests from Mother Dragon nor claim another Wild Baby Dragon.
- Any quests still present in the player's quest log will be removed upon logging off or changing channels.
- Complete "Fierce Little Dragon" to receive the final quest, Reunion.
- During this quest, you will receive a Suspicious Box, which contains a Dragon Dye Ampoule and one of the following Baby Dragons:
- Homestead Cute Baby Dragon
- Homestead Docile Baby Dragon
- Homestead Fierce Baby Dragon
- Use the Homestead Baby Dragon in your Homestead to place a 3×3 Baby Dragon animal of the respective type, which is essentially a permanent Baby Dragon. This Baby Dragon can give daily quests which reward 100k exp, but you can get only one of these quests per day despite the type and number of the Baby Dragons you have in your homestead.
- The Dragon Dye Ampoule acts as a Fixed Color Dye Ampoule and may be used on equipment other than the dragon.
- During this quest, you will receive a Suspicious Box, which contains a Dragon Dye Ampoule and one of the following Baby Dragons:
- After re-logging or changing channels after completing "Reunion", the entire quest chain will repeat itself.

Disposition
- Disposition quests are needed to raise the Wild Baby Dragon's disposition. They are obtained by talking to Mother Dragon.
- Some quests are repeatable, resetting at 7:00am PDT100. Some are one-time only.
- Maximum potential disposition gain per day is 19 points.
- Deleted quests cannot be retrieved again until the next day.
- Mother Dragon will still provide quests even if players have an incomplete one that spans over the reset time.
- Disposition quests will disappear from Mother Dragon's conversation once you complete the quest, Fierce Little Dragon.
- However, they will reappear once the player replays the entire quest chain.
- Non-repeatable quests still cannot be repeated even if the player repeats the quest chain.
- Quests of the same type may only count for one quest, even if all are active at once. For example, the three event cooking quests will count for the earliest taken quest unless it does not fulfill the requirements, which it will then apply to the next quest down the list that it applies to.
- Quests may also take precedence over other quests of the same type as well. For example, the three event cooking quest objectives may register before [Daily Quest] Cooking.
