This page is for the status of the Mari Game Server of Mabinogi NA.

Server Status

August 27^th, 2015

• Mobs not spawning properly on any channel.

August 29th^th, 2012

• Channels 1, 2, and 5 have crashed at approximately 6:14PM EST.

July 12th^th, 2012

• All the channels except the housing channel have crashed.

July 11th^th, 2012

• All the channels except the housing channel have crashed.

May 5^th, 2012

• There is an apparent glitch in Tara Castle where you cannot see the other player your pet is carrying.
• There are also a few character lock out problems remaining.

April 7^th, 2012

• All Channels have crashed. No channels are running events. Players who were on the channels when they crashed may experience problems logging back in. A password change can cause a forced log out so the player may log back in.
  • Channels are working properly, but events are no longer running.

January 29^th, 2012

• Many of the remaining channels have been crashing and the players have been experiencing abnormal terminations. It is recommended that players do not log on until the "maintenance" has concluded.

January 28^th, 2012

• Channel 7 has crashed. Players are warned to change channels or relog if taking items from pets. If not, players are losing items.
• Players on channel 6 are disconnecting and logging in to find missing equipment.

January 27^th, 2012

• Players are still experiencing log in issues. The message given is "Unknown Error" upon log in.

January 24^th, 2012

• Channel 7 has crashed.
  • Channel 7 is now offline, and off the channel list.
• Mari is undergoing latency issues.
  • Mari's latency has subsided.

January 23^rd, 2012

• Mari server is now in maintenance. No announcement from Nexon.
  • All channels are down as of 7:00 AM PST.
• All channels are currently running, however the Housing Board is still not functioning.
  • The monster and animal server are not functioning correctly.
    • All monster and animal servers and channels are functioning correctly.

January 21^st, 2012

• Channels 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 have crashed.
• Channel 4 is currently down for Maintenance while Channel 5 is becoming full and overpopulated.
  • Channel 4 has rebooted and is no longer running the Shoot the Sun Event
• Channel 4 has been taken down again. The channel is not available to select on the Channel Screen. Users who were in the channel were forcefully logged out.
• Housing Channel has crashed. Users with their characters in this channel are unable to log on at the moment.

January 18^th, 2012

• Channels 1 has crashed during the Shoot the sun event. They are not able to move and they can not log off.
  • Channel 1 has been fixed. Players may also return to find weapons in both primary and secondary slots gone.

January 17^th, 2012

• Channels 1, 4, and 6 have crashed and are unavailable. NPCs on Channel 5 are alive.
  • This has been fixed in the maintenance.
• All channels are experiencing latency.

January 16^th, 2012

• Most NPCs, in most channels, have been killed and cannot be spoken to. Keep in mind this means NPCs currently cannot supply items, part-time jobs, or repairs. It is advised for players to ration what they have. Iria Quest boards and the mailbox are also dead, so be aware that mail is unavailable.(Exceptions are: Taillteann Residents; Royal Castle Guards on Shires in Tara; citizens in Port Cobh; The kids near the Wishing Tree, Workers near the ship and Guardsman near Admiral Owen on Belvast; and Petra on the Fishing Boat)

January 15^th, 2012

  • This has been fixed.

October 8^th, 2011

• At 12:03 PM Pacific / 3:03 PM Eastern, Channel 4 Crashed due to the Shoot the Sun Event (2011) and the latency it caused. This caused a 30 minute rollback to characters in that channel.

September 25^th, 2011

• The error with character data not saving has been fixed.

September 24^th, 2011

• An error with character data saving prevents anything done to be saved. This can lead to corrupted character data.
  • Also because of this, pets do not properly summon and desummon. This can lead to missing items so refrain from summoning pets.

September 16^th, 2011

• Mari server appears to be saving character data again.

September 15^th, 2011

• Even though login works, server gives maintenance error code when trying to load any character.
• Some pet cards are showing up as a human in all black.
• An error with character data saving prevents anything done to be saved. This can lead to corrupted character data and missing items.

• Mari server appears to be saving character data again.

September 11^th, 2011

• There is a problem with channel 4 which is preventing users from loggin in.
  • The problem seems to have been fixed after about 5 minutes.
• An error with character data saving prevents anything done to be saved. This can lead to corrupted character data and missing items.
• There is also an error with pets; once a pet is summoned, there is no option to desummon it. The "return" command does not work, nor do hotkeys. Opening up the pet menu (via right-click) does not give you an option to cancel the summon.
  • The pets can be canceled by using a hotkey. However after they have been unsummoned they still remain in the area. After desummon another pet can be called, giving you more than one pet summoned at any one time.

September 8^th, 2011

• Server has an error, crashing all users in-game and those attempting to get in-game.

September 4^th, 2011

• Latency has started to appear in the server from Double Rainbow, causing Spawns to despawn or slowly spawn. There's barely a Monster AI in effect.

August 27^th, 2011

• The 100% Blacksmith Repair Event is not in effect.

August 24^th, 2011

• An error with character data saving prevents anything done to be saved. This can lead to corrupted character data and missing items. It is recommended to stay offline until maintenance concludes.
• There is also an error with pets; once a pet is summoned, there is no option to desummon it. The "return" command does not work, nor do hotkeys. Opening up the pet menu (via right-click) does not give you an option to cancel the summon.

• Monster server is down, which means no dungeons and no monsters in the game.
  • This has been observed to be exclusive in Channel 4.

August 20^th, 2011

• Entire Server unable to save Character Data. Summoning Pets will cause you to crash. You'll be rolled back whenever you change channels or log off.

August 18^th, 2011

• Channel 3 crashed. Channel being rebooted.

June 19^th, 2011

• Channels are crashing. Can't login after being crashed out.

April 16^th, 2011

• Housing Channel: Enter at your own risk. You may freeze upon reentry, and you will not be able to re log back onto that character.

January 31^th, 2011

• Channels are crashing. Can't login to certain channels.

January 26^th, 2011

• All Channels are experiencing heavy lag, player chat not responding, or responding very slowly. Skills not loading. Monsters responding normally. Possible Crash. Can't login to Mabinogi.

July 6^th, 2010

• Channels 5, 6 and 7 are refusing to give players entry to dungeons and the Shadow World. There also seems to be no monster spawn in these channels. The other channels are functioning normally.

April 31^st, 2010

• The Mari game server is functioning normally at this time, with the exception of the latency issues which Nexon is working to address.

April 27^th, 2010

• All channels are currently inaccessible to some users, but everyone is still able to login. These users, as well as others, are experiencing problems with the Nexon ticket system, being told of an "invalid query string."

April 23^rd, 2010

• All channels are experiencing high amounts of latency in all aspects of gameplay. Channel 6 has crashed once and was immediately restored.

• The Mari game server is functioning normally at this time.

• Nexon has announced that all game servers will be undergoing a scheduled server maintenance on Wednesday, January 6th 2010 at 12:00AM Pacific (3:00AM Eastern) to 4:00AM Pacific (7:00AM Eastern). For the Nexon announcement, go Here.

January 2^nd, 2010

• Channel 7 is back up, and accounts logged into that channel should be accessible. Channel 6 is still stuck, and has been removed from the server list.

• Channels 6 and 7 of the Mari Server have both crashed and are now offline. Any accounts logged in occupying those channels are unable to log out. Visiting the "My Account" section on the Nexon site and changing the account password is rumored to kick an account off a crashed channel. No announcement from Nexon has been given regarding this issue.

Housing Channel

• The Housing Channel is working again.

Channel 1

April 14^th, 2012

• Channel 1 has crashed and is currently under "Maintenance"
  • The Channel has rebooted, and is no longer running any events.

• Channel 1 has crashed and is experiencing problems at the current moment. The channel is not available to select on the Channel Screen. Users who were in the channel were forcefully logged out.

Channel 2

Channel 3

January 21^st, 2012

• Channel 3 has crashed due to the mass amounts of people participating in the Shoot the Sun Event.

Channel 4

February 2^nd, 2012

• Channel 4 is still unavailable, attempting to changing channels or logging onto Channel 4 will cause the client to crash.

January 30^th, 2012

• Channel 4 has crashed and unable to reboot itself. This channel is considered online; however, it acts as offline.
  • If attempting to change into this channel, you'll be automatically disconnected.

January 27^th, 2012

• Channel 4 has crashed.
• Logging into channel 4 or changing channels to channel 4 will cause the game to abnormally exit.

January 22^th, 2012

• Channel 4 has been brought down for an abrupt maintenance.
  • Channel 4 has been shut down. Items lost in the process.

January 17^th, 2012

• Channel 4 has crashed.
  • Channel 4 has been fixed

• Channel 4 has crashed and is experiencing problems at the current moment. The channel is not available to select on the Channel Screen. Users who were in the channel were forcefully logged out.

July 2^nd, 2011

• Channel 4 of the Mari server has mostly likely crashed. Users in channel four froze; changing to channel four results in the game locking since 1:15am EDT (10:15pm PDT)
  • Channel 4 has been taken offline at 1:28am EDT (10:28pm PST)

• Channel 4 of the Mari server has mostly likely crashed. Changing channels to channel 4 results in game crash and not being able to log in

• Channel 4 of the Mari server was taken down for unannounced unscheduled maintenance at 11:34pm PST.

• Channel 4 is functioning normally at this time.

February 6^th, 2010

• Channel 4 of the Mari server began crashing around 5:15pm. Players who were logged into Channel 4 are still unable to log out or change channels.

• Channel 4 of the Mari server crashed at 8:02pm EST. It is currently inactive and it is advised not to go into the channel.

December 31^st, 2009

• Channel 4 is functioning normally at this time.

• Channel 4 of the Mari server crashed at 1:30pm EST, it has rebooted but the Christmas event is not currently active. The event is available in all other channels.

May 22^nd 2011

• Channel 4 of the Mari server is having strange bugs where players cannot change out of the channel or can't log in to the channel

Channel 5

April 16^th, 2012

• Nexon has taken Channel 5 offline and will be keep channel offline until the scheduled maintenance on April 17^th. For more information, see here

Channel 6

• Channel 6 crashed. While online, the event is no longer active on this channel.

July 2^nd, 2011

• Users in Channel 6 of the Mari server cannot change out of the channel. Additionally, users cannot change into Ch6 from other channels.
  • The channel seems to be offline as of 11:50pm EST (8:50pm PST)

January 23^rd, 2010'

• Channel 6 of the Mari server has been experiencing mob lag from 11:00pm EST (8:00 PST), which is still going on, on and off.

January 18^th, 2010

• Channel 6 of the Mari server crashed at 6:58pm EST (3:58 PST), cannot log in if accounts on channel 6 were logged in at the time of crash.
• May have difficulty logging on channel, or channel may not be reached.
• Channel 6 is now online.

• Channel 6 of the Mari server crashed at 6:25pm EST (3:25pm PST), any accounts logged in to channel 6 are stuck.

Channel 7

March 21^st, 2014

• Channel 7 has crashed and relaunched. Does not have event active.

• Channel 7 is under maintenance and/or crashed.
• Channel 7 is offline, at about 9:45PM EST(6:45 PST)

• Channel 7 of the Mari server crashed at 6:58pm EST (3:58 PST), cannot log in if accounts on channel 7 were logged in at the time of crash.
• May have difficulty logging on channel, or channel may not be reached.
• Note: If you are stuck on Channel 7, you may benefit from visiting Nexon's webpage and changing your password. This has been said to force your account to "log off" for the password change, enabling you to log into a different channel.
