That would explain why I haven't seen any in shops.

Everything else in the event is untradeable(excluding everyone's favorite reward: chocolate). And considering Nexon probably wanted to avoid anyone abusing the event. It was most likely.

1 day = 24 hours. Out of curiosity what mystical force compelled you to believe it would end at 7:00 am or 12:00 am PST?

Not only that, it persists even if you log out. The time still counts down, though.

Because I thought it'd be like the age pots where they'd end at a certain time. and events too? End of day, end of effect, but a day could would ending at 12am or 7am. :CC Because it didn't say 24hrs, like how Life skill pots are 10mins, I wasn't sure if it's the 12am or 7am.

Well the event details do say that the calendar will also be reset.. We'll see in 27 days. That'll be an extra Eweca Orb if that's the case. :o
