Talk:Japanese Sword

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Overhauled the change done via switching the names and redirects. Also pasted the previous discussion. --DarkWyvern 15:04, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Although it is obviously incorrect, the actual in-game name used for this sword is 'Japanese Twin Sword Sword'. Should we not be using the in-game name until (if ever) Nexon changes it. Using 'Japanese Two-handed Sword' may be the correct translation but it is not a certainty that Nexon will use this if they fix the mistake, they may stay with 'Japanese Twin Sword' or some other name they may believe more suitable, in their infinite wisdom. Also, people looking for this sword will not realise it is the 'Japanese Two-handed Sword' as they need to find this page to read the line about its incorrect in-game name. --ZRoc (Talk) 14:03, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

It's base name (for all client files in every server) is Japanese Long Blade.--Hengsheng120(talkcontribs) 14:38, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Upgrade Path

I was wondering if someone would care to share a few upgrade paths, especially for Splash, or could redirect me to a sword page with similar upgrades?

Wakizashi Erg Status

Trying to edit the Wakizashi to have it say it can get Erg, but my thick skull and small brain does not know how to. In any case, it can receive Erg, just did it to two as an experiment.

Repair Costs

I'm trying to input the repair costs for each percentage, but can't figure it out. As I am new to the wiki. Can someone teach me how?

How did you even end up on this page?

Anyway, here's a picture tutorial:

  1. Find the item you want to add prices to and click the (Edit) button: http://puu.sh/3csM7.PNG
  2. Add the prices to the item's data. You want it below the <!-- Item Specifications --> and above the |ObtainList=: http://puu.sh/3csM9.PNG
    • Put the pipe (|), followed by "Repair", and the % you wish to add it for.

For example, if you wanted to add 98% repair price of 100g, you would put

|Repair98=100

Ah, thank you.
