Talk:Lava Cat Robe
Anti-Sulfur Effect?
Was re-reading the hidden G8 guide on the Nexon site (which I mentioned on the G8 talk page) and I found this bit on the page for Part 2 of their walkthrough:
"When you arrive in the [Sulfur Ore] mining region, you will face Sulfur Poisoning. Sulfur Poisoning will deplete your HP unless you are wearing a Lava Cat Robe."
It's not listed on the wiki, and I don't entirely trust Nexon on this sort of thing (they did say that the treasure chests for the recent event would be in Physis when there weren't any) so can any foreign players (or people who get lucky enough to find one quickly) confirm this? --Duet 11:44, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- I got the robe, and still take damage from sulfur poisoning, so the guide is indeed false in that aspect.--Inkster 09:05, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ha, Nexon doesn't understand how Equipment Combination Effects work. --- Angevon (Talk) 14:03, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- If they want that statement to hold true, they should make the robe give 10 poison resistance points, although that would imbalance the game more badly than it already is...Sogard6 06:44, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- I fail to see how that's imbalancing, since anything that has poison attack will usually knock you into Deadly without the poison even doing anything.BladeBlade 23:47, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
