It seems that the messenger server crashed today, I'd like to suggest adding the status to it for future references. A user from the nexon forum's named CPTRainbow noted that the IP was 8.31.99.12

Uhm i beleive the person editing has a clock thats off the status should still be maintenance o.o

I tried to log in and noticed that the Mabinogi site is down but all other regional sites are up (Nexon KA, Nexon JP, etc.) but the North American site returns a 404 error but the tab still has the Nexon logo. I tried to go to www.nexon.net and the whole site is down in the US! I think there was another mishap at their offices like the 2/21/11 crash. Still, there's no way to tell what happened until Nexon brings their site up or posts on the wiki.

Oh good. I thought it was just me. I wrote a program that checks the server and channels for connectivity and it has been acting very erratic. Started to get confused at what the cause was. Yeah, seems to be with all of Nexon NA. --Sai 16:06, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

I can roughly pinpoint about the time this started. it was about 4 hours ago. It seems that everything suddenly crashed for reasons unknown. of course, rumors might get started about this is due to the cause of some hackers but if you ask me, it's probably nexon at fault.

I just checked a few things, and the main Nexon NA site and the DFO NA site are back up. Mabi's site still returns a 404 though.

Able to access Mabinogi's website now. Forums are still dead for me. Login server is still down.

Since only part of the english version of the website works, I tried to set the status displayed on the homepage to error, but I got blocked from editing that section for no reason. When I'm not logged in it says I must be a user to edit, but whwn I'm logged in it says that users can't edit it. If an admin is reading this, please set the Nexon webpage status to error until the website is fully accessible.

Re-logging on here is still toggling protection. If an admin sees this please fix it so I can correct the status

New accounts with less than 10 edits towards the wiki will be unable to edit the Server Status section. This is to prevent vandalism.

Do talk pages count? I'm pretty sure I used the talk page more than 10 times but logging in still toggles protection. I opened the wiki in a new tab logged out and it showed up semi-protected and fully protected at the same time.

I got ten right now (This is my 10^th post.)

I was given the privilege to edit the server status and someone already set "Nexon webpage" to "error" before I could, but the wiki isn't a competition to make the most edits so I don't mind :)

The login server is still dead but the US version of the webpage is getting fixed one page at a time, so it may be fixed soon.

Seems the NA Website is fully up again, (though when scrolling through I may have missed a page or two).

Yeah, checked again and the only thing that is still down is the forums. The Vindi forums are back up though so I'd hazard a guess that the Mabi ones should be following soon as well.

All the servers are under maintenance according to the news. I'm labeling the servers with the "maintenance" tag on the homepage after this post

Since Nexon went down at about 10 am eastern time I sure hope that they do extend the treasure hunt event. Looks like it may be bad since its been down all day now. Sure hope they get it fixed soon.

What the hell just happened? Did a fire hit the mainframe of Nexon's servers for it to crash ALL GAMES and their website?

I know right? When the website is even down it in near impossible to know what exactly is going on unless Mabi Wiki has a direct contact with Nexons staff. Most likely this is a crash and a particularly BAD one. For those who were on when this happened... hope that you didn't lose anything important.
