Is it only limited to normal attacks?

The wiki page states that elves can use range while mounted on the fox but I've found this isn't true. Can someone corroborate?

Speed

The fox's speed appears to be about the same as a thunder dragon's, maybe even slightly slower :o

The mini-fox and the mount fox has different speed.
