Something's not right...

Long time ago, Morrighan and Cichol were young and hated each other. BUT...

They decided to work together to kill off the Partholons?

Infodude575 (talk)19:14, 14 July 2013

Surprisingly, there are a lot of gaps...which I will safely assume that you can find the info in the in-game books...

まそっぷ ! (talk)20:11, 14 July 2013

We should have a page dedicated for gaps, plot holes, inconsistencies, etc...

Infodude575 (talk)20:28, 14 July 2013

Shakespeare's Journal seems to have a timeline set? It talks about his encounter with Cichol and Morrighan and then pages after talks about him saving the people from the plague.

Infodude575 (talk)20:23, 14 July 2013

thanks for bringing that up...x.x I have that stupid journal sitting around for so long that I completely ignored it LOL...

まそっぷ ! (talk)20:49, 14 July 2013

I don't see why they couldn't kill the partholon while they were still young?

Pyro - (Talk)23:29, 14 July 2013

Do I look young to you?!

This image shows up after you beat Python Knight.

Also in the G11 credits there's adult Morrighan and Cichol looking over Tuan.

Infodude575 (talk)00:04, 15 July 2013

I'm thinking the child appearance was moreso just for symbolism, not that they're actually children. Or else in G15 they immediately turn into adults after they stop being friends. My point is, there's nothing suggesting they couldn't have wiped the partholon before they stopped being friends.

Pyro - (Talk)15:02, 15 July 2013

Actually Pyro there is: Shakespeare's Journal.

Page 16/17: Cichol kidnaps Bella, Shakespeare tries to save her and fail. Morrighan appears and attempts to seal Cichol, but fails.

Page 24: Plague that killed Partholons.

Infodude575 (talk)16:34, 15 July 2013

They had separated as friends some time before cichol attacks shakes and bella. Obviously something happened during their time together.

まそっぷ ! (talk)18:00, 15 July 2013

Yeah, but then according to the journal, the Partholon-killing plague occured AFTER that event.

Infodude575 (talk)18:42, 15 July 2013

Well then, I suppose that's where their friendship ends then...Tir Na Nog apparently collapsed at somewhere in said timeline.

まそっぷ ! (talk)19:03, 15 July 2013

Bella's Notebook might have hinted it happened during/after Morri and Cichol broke up.

Oh, another thing that doesn't make sense: How the hell does Petrified Morrighan rebirth Mari and imprison Shakespeare?

Infodude575 (talk)19:34, 15 July 2013

The Goddess's physical body was turn to stone, but her spirit remained sealed...at least from what I gathered...So maybe her lingering spirit was behind that. Course there's that one book about her turning to stone during the first war.

まそっぷ ! (talk)21:16, 15 July 2013

They mention the goddess that turned to stone sometime in G13, iirc.

Pyro - (Talk)20:57, 15 July 2013

Page 90 of Shake's Journal: Morrighan turned to stone.

The pages after that are the Wars of Mag Tuireadh and stuff.

Infodude575 (talk)20:59, 15 July 2013

No I mean, iirc, they explain how she's no longer stone or reference it in G13.
