Glitched Bandit Spawns?

I passed through Corrib Valley at around 8 ish PM, I got ambushed by Smuggler Bandits. Then after I cleared them, at 10:00 PM, I got ambushed by Nelson. Then I went to search for Byron and I couldn't find him anywhere.

Glitch? I shouldn't have been attacked by Smuggler Bandits AT ALL if Byrun wasn't anywhere to be found at.

Corrib Valley has had a glitch that retains smuggler spawns into the day. This has occurred for at least a year.

Normally smuggler spawns go away once day breaks, but Corrib is an exception and retains them until they are triggered.
