Gold making... Commerce or Rafting?

Commerce makes gold == to the ducats you've made, and the time it takes to ride a trip over makes a bigger difference.

At 300k ducat level, with a wagon, it seems like the maximum ducat gain and gold gain, will be just around the 10k mark, per run... The time it takes between runs will be like 5 minutes at most maybe? You need a bit of luck and a good eye to make the gold worth it, but generally it's the ducats you want to earn most of the time, and gold is just a side thing...

As for rafting, so long as you do good damage with ranged or magic, and get about 4+ big stars per checkpoint, you can earn over 5000 gold within a rafting session (there's like 3 checkpoints)... The time for the entire session might be like 15 minutes though.

In conclusion: Rafting "may" earn more gold, but only if you are more skilled, and commerce has a good mixture of exp, gold, and ducats gained... So to the newb friendliness, commerce is preferred. =P

31 stars (6 big and 1 small) is around 9980 gold.

Basically in need of gold these days, so I'm trying to compare them... But thanks to advance play and waxen wing of goddess, and a party train warping... We can warp enmass in Commerce, cutting down the time to just seconds!

Get your friends and make a group up to 8, 7 commerce and 1 warping player... Make a warp train of pets and mount up, then warp to select town after getting your commerce started...
