Treasure Dungeons Only For Treasure Hunters?

Has anyone who ISN'T in the Treasure Hunter Ace Talent found a Treasure Dungeon?

I'm beginning to think that the "Chance to discover ruins on the minimap during L-Rod Exploration" actually just means that it points out possible spots to find regular artifacts. (showing little orange triangles over areas that have something to L-rod up). Like this: [1] (this has a chance of happening regardless of whether you're actually L-rodding in the correct place or not, and happens about the same rate that the skill table says I should be discovering Treasure Dungeons)

I've been uncovering hundreds of non-chest artifacts since r6+ and I haven't found a single Treasure Dungeon. In a moment of desperation, I saw someone else's dungeon and tried to enter (derp) and got this message: [2].

I mean, there's an equal chance that message is supposed to say "only the person who discovered this dungeon can enter it" but... at any rate I haven't found a single treasure dungeon, no prompt asking if i'd like to uncover one, or anything.

I'm beginning to think that finding treasure dungeons is for players in the Treasure Hunter talent only, but I only have my experiences so far. Has anyone outside of the Treasure Hunter Ace talent been able to uncover and enter their own Treasure Dungeon?

The master title supposedly increases the chance to find a treasure dungeon...?

Also, could you explain in more detail how that minimap thing works? Like do you have to do anything just for them to appear? How long do they stay for?

For the minimap thing, just load the L-rod exploration... skill? Action? Anyways, load it and use it, make it do a circle. Whether or not you find anything isn't important, just "exploring" has a chance to make the minimap show little triangles, showing places where something can be hidden. The triangles don't stay on the minimap for very long. I'd estimate they stay there maybe... 2 or 3 seconds.

I got rank 6 and the detection lasts for like one second for me. Does it by any chance get longer at higher ranks?

EDIT: Rank 2, still stays around for one second. So I guess it doesn't.

That's a brief time but interesting to know.

Several of my rank 1 exploration mastery non treasure hunter guildies say they have not found a single treasure dungeon, and that the skill itself only mentions treasure dungeons as a training requirement and not in the skill details at all.

Might be a glitch...?

Maybe it's intentional... Here, from the patch notes announcement [1]

• Rare, puzzle based Treasure Dungeons may be discovered by those with the Treasure Hunter talent active.

Hmm... that doesn't sound very good, but it would explain why I, and many other non-Treasure Hunters with r6+ Exploration Mastery, haven't found a single treasure dungeon.

I wouldn't trust what Nexon's announcements say. They've been wrong or misleading on many occasions.

I can't see how it's intentional if the training requirement is there.

Supposedly on the forum, which isn't credible I'd assume, someone DID find a treasure dungeon without Treasure Hunter talent, but he wasn't allowed to enter it.

My friend says he found one, too, just now. Same thing. He couldn't get in either.

Houston we have a problem.

And now the KR Testers are saying they misinterpreted it as finding a Treasure Dungeon. So it turns out you actually can't find one with Exploration Mastery at all.
