Changing weapons with fusion bolt

Apparently you can unequip your wand once you finish charging fusion. The same rule applies to bare hand fusion magic (e.g. lightning disappears after 15 secs). You can also equip other weapons or change to your second weapon set (e.g. using fusion bolts while dual-wielding) without loosing the charges once you release it once with bare hand.
