Lightning charge dissipation glitch

I've found a glitch concerning the 15 second limit on charging anything with lightning bolt using a lightning wand. Whenever I charge multiple fusion bolts using lightning, I cast ONE charge at an enemy and cancel the skill by either clicking the skill bubble or esc. I notice that the lightning charges in my hand are gone, but the icebolt/firebolt charges are still in my other hand. When you cast your remaining charges, the skill applies normally. The 15 second limit on lightning is gone! Whether this will work with other wands using lightning still needs further testing, but I'm positive that charging with a lightning wand and casting ONE charge will remove the lightning. I wish for more people to confirm this so it can be edited in the page.
