Bird AI broken?

G2 Elf...Black Ostrich doesn't retaliate...nor does the Giant Hawk at the end.

Server lag or...?

ehh it didn't do anything at all. it wasn't lagging and it didn't aggro. at least to my memory. I'm sure it was a bug and it's probably fixed by now.

Could be a glitch where its AI wasn't installed...

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, though it may have to do with G16S2 Split...meaning incomplete AI.

They sorta fixed it...only to break during the protection dropping part... ._. what thell?

This also applies to giant's giant bear thing.
