HP Absorption Questions

- Does anything affect Life Drain's HP absorption? Specifically referring to the amount of HP absorbed, not the damage.
- Does Guard Cylinder Mastery's damage decrease have any effect on HP absorption?

I healed the same amount with just a guard cylinder as with both a guard cylinder and a cylinder on an ancient Sea Troll, and the amount healed is just as the rank data says I should be. I only heal half of what I'm supposed to heal when I drain a red dragon, and I think the black dragon, too. Nothing else I remember though. Not quite sure what would be affecting that. Even girgashiy gives you the full drain. Never life drained the other dragons.
