Luck Stat Affecting Bonus Chance?

When experiencing a Lucky Bonus, the system message will say "Lucky Bonus" or something like that as well as a number between brackets, and this number is the amount of luck that you have. So I was just wondering if that means the luck stat somehow affects lucky bonus occurrences.

The Luck stat states that "The more Luck you have, the more often good things happen to you and the more bonuses you gain from Luck-related skills.". I've never seen numbers with lucky bonuses though.
