When to complete the quest
Ideally, it should not matter if you complete the quest before or after the 24th, but there are some reasons to doubt this.
User Kenzi333 stated on this page: "Don't Complete Quest. If You Look Properly there is a gap and might be known as a item but haven't past May 24th"
Whereas a post in the forums suggested that completing the quest will register you as someone to receive a coupon upon logging in after the 24th.
Discuss.
I've seen nexon do things like this before, I would complete the quest before the 24th. Most likely after the 24th the event is over, flowers cannot be turned in anymore.
Toast, what he means is, you still turn in the flower before the 24th, but when do you think you should hit the yellow "complete" button.
There's been an update to the Event post (at least on the mabi forums)
"Due to a problem with the event, players will not receive a coupon from Del at this time. However, a hidden keyword is added to their keyword lists, which tells us what players have completed the event (ie, given a fully-grown flower to Del). During our regularly scheduled maintenance for 5/31, we will distribute coupons to all players who have completed the event criteria. This coupon may then be used to obtain a prize for the event."
