It is only obtainable and works in that Shadow Mission. If you have done the mission and haven't encountered possessed monsters, well that's why you haven't seen these. And something 'like' this you could be referring to Taming Wild Animals, Control of Darkness, Enthralling Performance, or Summon Golem.
